At Griesser, over 150 standard colours in high-quality semi-gloss are available to you. This palette includes a wide selection of RAL, VSR and NCS shades for external venetian blinds, vertical awnings, shutters and roller shutters. For the Minicolor model, we offer a specialized selection of approx. 25 colours, while for shutters you can also choose from 10 noble wood decors.

While our 150 standard colours are finished in elegant semi-gloss as standard, we offer a special feature for shutters: The GRI RAL Color collection (50 selected shades) and the majority of the RAL K7 colour fan are also available in fine structure matt at no extra charge. This surface is not only highly modern and low-reflection, but also particularly robust and dirt-repellent.

Yes, absolutely. If you cannot find what you are looking for in our extensive collections, we can realize your individual custom colour. Using a colour spectrometer, we can precisely analyze physical samples (e.g., from other building components or colour cards) and coat your solar shading exactly in that shade.

For shutters, you can draw from the full range: In addition to the 150 standard colours in semi-gloss, many RAL shades are also available in trendy fine structure matt. For a natural look, we also offer 10 different wood decors that combine the aesthetics of wood with the durability of aluminium.
How do I choose the right transparency level for my fabric?
How do I choose the right transparency level for my fabric?
The choice depends on your desire for visibility and protection:
- Low transparency (0–1%): Maximum heat protection and privacy (ideal for sleeping areas).
- Medium transparency (3–5%): The balance between good thermal protection and visual contact with the outside (ideal for living rooms).
- High transparency (> 10%): Focus on architecture and almost unobstructed view with moderate protection.

Do dark fabrics protect better against heat than light ones?
Not necessarily. While light colours reflect light more strongly, dark shades absorb more heat. However, thanks to modern coatings, our dark Griesser fabrics also offer excellent thermal values. Dark fabrics also have the advantage of reducing glare and making contours appear sharper when looking outside.
Does the fabric also provide privacy in the evening when the lights are on?
Does the fabric also provide privacy in the evening when the lights are on?
That depends on the chosen fabric. With high transparency, the effect is reversed in the evening: if it is brighter inside than outside, silhouettes become visible from the outside. For permanent privacy even with artificial light, we recommend our opaque fabric variants.
