Griesser marks #GlobalShadingDay !

Join us in celebrating the world’s second #GlobalShadingDay!

Every March 21, which marks the start of spring, is #GlobalShadingDay, whose purpose is to raise awareness of the ecological and the economic benefits that solar shading provides. For one whole week, the European Solar Shading Organisation (ES-SO) and Switzerland’s VSR national solar shading association will be teaming up with their partners to conduct various activities and share content under the #GlobalShadingDay hashtag to highlight the many and varied advantages of smart solar shading. Global Shading Day was launched by the ES-SO in 2023, and should now be an annual event.

For Griesser, Global Shading Day is much more than a date on the calendar. It’s a commitment to a more sustainable future. Our aim is to make Griesser a carbon-neutral company by 2050. And we’re working towards that objective with our equally committed partners at both the national and the international level. We’re active members of reputed climate protection organizations such as myclimate and the UN Global Compact; and our climate goals include operating a zero-emissions company vehicle fleet by 2030 and carbon-neutral production facilities by 2035.
