The amount of light can only vary between fully open and fully closed, which does not allow for targeted control of daylight.

The shape of the sinusoidal lamellas reflects incident light in a targeted manner towards the ceiling, thus enabling extremely precise daylight guidance without glare overall.

For comparison purposes, a knitted fabric with 5% light transmission was chosen; this filters daylight evenly, but does not allow the light to be directed in a targeted manner by adjusting the angle, as is the case with slatted blinds.

Daylight can only be influenced by opening or closing, which does not allow for precise adjustment of the incidence of light.

This roller shutter system only allows for complete opening or closing and therefore offers virtually no possibility of actively controlling daylight.

Thanks to the sinusoidal lamella geometry, daylight is channelled in a controlled manner into the room and distributed evenly, allowing for a high degree of adjustability.

Based on a shielded fabric with 5% light transmission, the system constantly reduces incident light but does not offer active control of the angle of illumination.

Moving the elements allows you to partially adjust the amount of light, but without precise control of the angle of incidence.

Rolpac® offers maximum blackout and great stability thanks to its side guide and hermetically sealed profiles. This system is one of the most effective solutions for blackout and protection. The adjustable slits of up to 6 mm allow you to perfectly regulate light and air.

The Z louvre directs the light rays upwards in a targeted manner and guarantees natural lighting that is almost equivalent to that of the S louvres, without glare.

With an inner screen fabric that allows 5% of light to pass through, daylight can only be filtered or completely released, which does not allow for precise light control.

The tiltable elements allow natural light to be directed in a more targeted manner than other solutions for shops, without, however, achieving the precision of slatted blinds.

The flexible positioning of the various elements allows for slightly more subtle light adjustment than traditional sliding shutters.

The flat shape of the slats allows for basic adjustment of the incidence of light, but offers the weakest active light guidance among slatted blinds.

The more strongly profiled slat significantly improves light reflection compared to simple flat slats, but does not quite achieve the level of precision of S or Z geometries.

Thanks to the closed slat structure and side guide, only a thin luminous edge is visible, allowing for very high overall darkening.

The absence of holes for fabric strips in the slats and the rubber seals integrated between the closed slats significantly reduce light transmission, allowing for maximum darkening inside the slatted blinds.

In combination with an opaque fabric, the ZIP side guide ensures that the blind is almost opaque, providing maximum darkness among façade blinds.

When the elements are closed, the light is greatly reduced, but some residual brightness remains in the room thanks to the seals and fittings.

Thanks to the side guide and airtight curtain, the closed roller shutter provides almost total blackout, comparable to that of Rolpac.

As there are no holes for fabric strips, the direct passage of light through the slats is reduced, but for construction reasons there is still some lateral incidence of light.

Even with an opaque fabric, light continues to pass through the side slits, making the blackout effect visibly less effective than with ZIP systems.

Large elements provide good blackout, but allow some light to pass through at the sides and between the shutters.

The side profiles almost completely close the window and ensure maximum darkening of the room.

Despite the improved shape of the slats, light continues to penetrate through the openings needed to guide the tape, as well as from the sides and bottom, thus preventing complete blackout.

As it is an internal blind, an opaque fabric provides excellent blackout, but there is still a certain amount of light due to the fact that it is mounted internally.

Adjustable elements offer great flexibility, but by their very nature, they allow more light to pass through than traditional closed shutters.

The multi-part structure creates additional light gaps, making the blackout slightly less effective than closed surfaces.

Despite their closed position, a considerable amount of light still penetrates at the sides and between the individual slats, minimising darkening compared to other slatted blinds.

Thanks to the passage of the tape with corresponding openings in the slat and side slits, when the system is closed, residual light radiation remains visible, which limits the darkening compared to closed systems.

The specially designed guide offers high stability, enabling the system to achieve wind resistance class 6.

Solar input can only be completely blocked or completely authorised, which makes any active energy optimisation throughout the year virtually impossible.

The S-shaped slat geometry allows sunlight to be directed into the room in winter and reflected away in summer, thus achieving maximum overall energy control.

The energy effect depends heavily on the material used; with a suitable fabric, solar heating can be significantly reduced in summer, but there is no active control of sunlight in winter, as is the case with slatted blinds.

When closed, they reduce solar heating, but do not offer any possibility of specifically controlling heat input or actively using it in winter.

In this case too, adjustment is only possible by opening or closing, which does not allow for an optimal balance between heat gain and heat protection.

Thanks to the S-shaped slats, solar gain can be adjusted with extreme precision, optimising both passive heating in winter and heat protection in summer.

The external screen reduces direct exposure to the sun and therefore heating in summer, but does not allow you to fully enjoy the sun in winter.

Large elements act as static sun protection, but do not allow for precise adjustment of sunlight throughout the day.

As with all roller shutter systems, solar radiation can only be controlled approximately, which limits energy efficiency compared to adjustable systems.

The Z slat allows for good control of solar radiation and therefore effective energy regulation, but does not achieve the precision of the S slats.

As it is an internal system, the fabric is located behind the glass, allowing heat to accumulate in the room and minimising the energy effect.

The tiltable elements allow for more targeted adjustment of solar and thermal radiation than traditional shutters, enabling better energy management.

The multi-part structure allows for some adjustment of the shading, but remains less flexible from an energy perspective than adjustable slat systems.

The flat louvre offers only limited control of radiation, but remains more energy efficient overall than non-adjustable systems.

The profiled slat allows for effective adjustment of heat and light input, but remains slightly less precise than systems with a more pronounced slat geometry.
