This project stands out not only as it is the first Passivhaus renovation in Spain, but also due to the complexity associated with renovating a single flat in an entire building. To obtain Passivhaus standard, efficient solar shading is key. This Passivhaus flat consists of an interior wall cladding with thermo-acoustic insulation, high efficiency windows and, above all, airtightness.

Griesser’s solar shading solution played a key role in achieving energy efficiency, preventing overheating and allowing natural light to be controlled in the interior of the house.
