Venetian blinds are the most flexible solution for sun protection, but have specific properties depending on where they are used:

Advantages:

• Precise light control: You can continuously regulate the amount of light entering the room without completely darkening it.
• Heat protection: By blocking the sun’s rays from the window pane, the room climate remains pleasantly cool in summer.
• Privacy: They protect your privacy, but still allow you to see outside.

Disadvantages:

• Susceptibility to wind: Compared to rolling shutters, external venetian blinds must be raised in strong winds (storms) (unless a special wind-resistant system is installed).
• Cleaning effort: The individual slats require a little more attention when cleaning than a smooth rolling shutter surface.

Regular maintenance significantly extends the service life of your system and ensures that it retains its attractive appearance:

• Cleaning: Use clear water or a mild soap solution. Wipe the slats with a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid aggressive cleaning agents or high-pressure cleaners, as these can damage the coating.
